Asian Stocks Reflect Faltering US Economy

| , ,

The ugly word recession has reared its head recently and now the world markets, especially the Asian markets are getting ready for a "Correction." Hey, you don't have to ask an economist about recession here in the United States, just ask a regular Middle-Class family who now is struggling to fill their gas tank, heat their home and feed themselves. All of these things and many more aspects of American Life have gotten much more expensive thanks to a weak dollar that nobody cares to correct.

I'm so sick of hearing about the housing market slump - what about those of us that can't afford to even put money into savings? Many of us here in America are living Check to Check, with the credit card having to be used just to survive - and I'm not talking about those nitwits who use plastic for everything and then complain they are in debt. Don't whine to me because you didn't know your Adjustable Rate Mortgage could go higher - or all of a sudden you have to foreclose. Hey many of us would KILL to be in a position to buy a house - let alone a house we can't afford. What is killing me is that all the Real Estate people I know did not see this coming - I've been talking about the "bubble bursting" for a while and all of them said "no, there is too much demand right now" - dumbasses all of them and I hope this housing slump thins out the Real Estate Agent surplus - it's like how everyone turns into a prospecter when there is a gold rush.

If our dollar remains weak and our economy falters then how can anyone like me live this mythical American Dream that our grandparents talk about? What's more, you got these uppity rich types who think that if you are smart enough you will make money and that only dumb people are poor. What I find is that many of them think they are self-made but fail to consider the help that "mommy and daddy" gave them or the trust-fund that grand-dad left for them. The country is now full of these useless people.

I also blame these nouveau riche types for some of our current problems, you know the ones who made money in the 90's under Clinton and got to keep their riches by Bush's tax-cuts. They talk about the environment but drive Cadillac Escalade or that ridiculous Porshe SUV and only care that their little Cooper or Connor or McKenzie (or whatever Yuppie name is currently popular) goes to soccer practice, and has the perfect little childhood. Meanwhile poor parents of kids have to deal with crumbling public schools, take second jobs or re-mortgage to pay for college and when the kids finally graduate they have to crawl out from under a student-loan debt in the tens of thousands of dollars. And I didn't even mention how these kids will be able afford to buy a home.

Let this be fair warning to the Hummer/McMansion/LL Bean/Organic Food people - the second society collapses I'm leading the mob through your well-maintained neighborhoods and dragging you all out to be lynched. Just because you could pay ourtageous prices for home does not mean you should, and now many people can't buy a home, while other still cannot afford to sell their homes at a loss. You started this class-war and I'm going to finish it.
